Wilderness Australia was established in 2001 as a bespoke nature travel company and is now run by conservationist cum private safari guide, Brendon Bevan.  The business uses travel to connect guests with people and places that actively contribute to the conservation of Australia's biodiversity.

Immersive Wilderness Experiences

From a private wildlife safari to a 'primitive' wilderness trail in the Australian outback, we offer immersive experiences that open up the secrets behind Australia's diverse and spectacular environment

Guided by Experts

Private Wilderness Safaris

Our private safaris enable you to get under the skin of the country and experience the incredible diversity of Australia's landscapes.  The subtleties of the bush are only truly understood in the company of an expert guide and local characters

Wilderness Trails

In some inspirational settings, our multi-day trails provide a very pure and unscripted connection with the wild, allowing you to blend with the rhythm of the bush and escape the distractions of our connected modern lives

Connections in the Field

Field Guide Training

Bringing concepts from leaders in African field guide training, learn how to track, develop situational awareness in the bush, deliver the stories that will engage and connect travellers to the bush and how a guiding job in tourism can contribute to conservation
