Luxury Resorts

Luxury resorts with true Australian flavour can be found in all our varied landscapes

Luxury Resorts ~ Wilderness Australia

Throughout the diverse landscapes of this vast continent are truly luxurious resorts and lodges. They offer the traveller a premium accommodation experience, a taste of our world-renowned cuisine, a selection of excellent wines, an activities program designed to showcase their surrounds and often a day-spa for beauty and relaxation therapies.

Yet our luxury resorts are not just generic luxury resorts that could be anywhere in the world. More often than not they are uniquely Australian in style & ambience, the young and energetic staff bring a warm Aussie welcome to work each day and the Australian passion for casual entertaining shines through.

A leading luxury resort is located at Uluru, in the Red Centre. Here you will sleep in crisp white linen, under a canopy of canvas. You will wake to views from your bed of the morning sun changing the colours of the desert and to the sound of desert birds out to catch a worm. At night dine under a canopy stars like no other you have seen and hear the ancient tales & stories of the Anangu people.

As you would expect, many of our luxury resorts are located on the idyllic islands of the Great Barrier Reef. Fringed with white sand beaches, turquoise waters and colourful coral reefs there are luxury resorts to suit all tastes - from bigger hotel style resorts offering a superb selection of restaurants, enormous lagoon style swimming pools and a huge range of activities; through to the smaller resorts that focus much more on intimate and romantic escapes.

Luxury resorts can be found tucked in to our ancient Rainforests, gentle places where the emphasis is on relaxation. A quiet wander to an isolated waterfall might nurture the soul, while spa treatments inspired by the ancient rhythms of the forests and the Aboriginal people who have lived her for tens of thousands of years might nurture the body.

There are luxury resorts in places as remote as the Kimberley in Western Australia, in places as wild as the Mitchell River in the savannah country of Far North Queensland and in places of exceptional wildlife such as Kangaroo Island. An Australian journey may be made up entirely of luxury resorts and yet still provide a wonderful variety of contrasting experiences.  The options are endless!

Our knowledge and experience allows us to include both experiential and luxury components - from 'roughing' it under the stars one night to pampered spa treatment the next.
